Back in the wild west

Last week was pretty wild & crazy for us as we were helping with Vacation Bible School at our church. We led the skit team and rounded up some youth group kids to help too. This year the VBS theme was wild west, so the whole skit was set out in Lost Canyon. We all dressed up as cowboys, cowgirls, bandits, oh, and sheep. Steve played his role of the Poor Rancher very well, scruffy beard and all! He looked a little like this...

VBS provided a great opportunity for us to connect and serve with youth group students. Annnd it was so awesome to see the body of Christ come together to serve and love on the elementary aged kids of our church and neighborhood. The *best* part for me was bringing Zenia & Zubin! It was really fun and special to have them participate and sing and engage and soak up all the love! YEE-HAW for Jesus!

Needless to say, over the weekend we did a lot of laying around, however we did manage to build this sweet basketball hoop...
