Serious blockage

Another family surgery occurred today. This time, my dad underwent an endoscopy to explore his heart. After taking a stress test last week, the doctors detected a partial blockage in one of his arteries. Turns out, it was his main artery which had a 90% blockage! They put a stint in his heart to restore blood flow, and they are keeping a close watch over other potentially blocked areas along with an enlarged aorta. Overall, the procedure was a success, but there is some concern over additional problems (i.e. the aorta), which doctors are working to control. The likely suspects in all of this... cholesterol and smoking. My dad is doing well now although he'll be in the hospital over night. He's on a bunch of new meds and is not allowed to smoke. We are trusting God to heal him fully, prevent further complications, and give him a much needed wake up call so he will finally quit the cigs! Please praise God with us that the serious blockage was recognized and repaired. And please pray with us for healing and sustained health for many years to come. Thanks all. Love you Daddy.
