It is a game of honor and ethics, played among gentleman and only recently has included women into the sport. On a personal note - my tenacity is gender neutral on the dodgeball court. In battle, do soldiers put less gun powder behind their cannonballs when firing them at fair ladies? No and neither will I refrain from putting less pent up rage caused by "southern" drivers, Windows fatal errors and the line on my cell phone bill titled "Verizon Wireless' and Other Charges & Credits" totaling a mysterious $16.51.
The simple strategy in dodgeball I mentioned earlier is this: throw the balls really hard, throw them low, and throw them at the same time as everyone else on your team. But somehow our team manages to do none of those things well. After every lost round we just look at each other and say "Man they're good," while we scratch our heads and continue to lob the balls into the arms of the other team one by one.
All the while, nothing beats a long day at work like pegging girls in the face with a dodgeball.

Our league is run by River City Sports and Social Club (RCSSC) and games are played at both Sports Center of Richmond (SCOR) and Richmond Volleyball Club (RVC).
