Days 13 & 14: I can't tell if we're thriving or digressing with the late nights working on the house, fast food dinners [gasp], minimum sleep. Our days are blending together. We're surviving each day on coffee and diet coke. This can't last much longer. This feels like torture, but at the same time it's fun. One thing is for sure, these are memorable days of our lives. I can already imagine saying to Steve years from now, "Remember when we bought this house? Going back and forth from Morningside to Lycoming. Painting and fence building late into the night. Holding our eye lids open just to finish one last project."
Our aim has been to punch out what we can before moving day. Things will slow down once our stuff is in the house, and we can settle into a more sustainable pace. For now, we paint and build on.
God is good.
